Institutional Merit Scholarships
Shawnee State’s Institutional Merit Scholarships reward academic achievements with automatic awards based on GPA and ACT/SAT scores. No separate application needed.
Transfer Scholarships
Our Transfer Scholarships offer up to $3,000 per year for qualifying students who bring a strong academic record from another college or university.
Legacy & Go Far Scholarships
The Legacy Scholarship supports students with an SSU graduate in their family, while the Go Far Scholarship helps residents outside Ohio access a Shawnee education with in-state tuition savings.
SSU Honors Scholarship
Designed for high-achieving students accepted into the Shawnee Honors Program, this scholarship offers more financial support and access to exclusive academic experiences.
Free Tuition for Qualifying Students
First-time students from specific Ohio and Kentucky counties can earn a degree tuition-free through a regional access program that removes financial barriers and open doors for future leaders. Award is automatically applied to the account of those who qualify.
